New York Station Domination and Time Square

I had the fantastic opportunity to create concepts and copy for the multimillion dollar launch of Galaxy S24 Series and the first roll out of Samsung’s AI experience, Galaxy AI.

One task was to take over New York City through a New York Station Domination and New York Time Square. We created an overarching storyline, “Galaxy AI on the new Galaxy S24 Series unlocks a life of ease, just like that,” and strategically sprinkled it throughout the New York subway and Time Square. Through this, we explained how all Galaxy S24 Series’ new features, such as Live Translate, Circle to Search, and Generative Photo Assist, can make consumers’ lives powerfully easier — just like that.

DOOH: Galaxy AI Nightography Zoom

We created a 3D billboard for the Moxy Hotel in LA and Penn Station in NYC which featured the Galaxy AI feature, Nightography Zoom. I worked on the copy for this piece, which was based upon a space radio spot we also created for the launch of Galaxy S24 Series.

This was the highest performing radio spot for the launch of Galaxy S24 Ultra and the announcement of Galaxy AI. Due to its success, Samsung decided to continue the spot during Galaxy S24 Series Sustain.

Social Copy

I wrote this self-aware and sarcastic reddit copy for the pre-launch of Galaxy S22 Series. Following reddit guidelines, this ad hits nearly all the 300 characters (299) and it makes fun of itself, which fits reddit culture. This goal of this ad was to drive people to pre-order the phone at Verizon, and one of the key campaign messages for the Galaxy S22 Series was “this phone breaks all the rules,” so I wrote an ad that “breaks all the rules”.

This ad breaks the rules of advertisement. It doesn’t tell you how epic the new Galaxy S22 Series is. It doesn’t mention Nightography, which lets you take brilliant photos at night. It doesn’t encourage you to pre-order it now at Verizon. This ad breaks all the rules – just like Galaxy S22 Series.

Samsung Galaxy Valentine’s Day

I helped develop the overarching theme, direction, and copy for the 2023 Samsung Galaxy’s Valentine’s Day web content. The overarching theme was, “unforgettable Valentine’s gifts with Samsung Galaxy.” I communicated this to the audience by encouraging people to go beyond clichés, like chocolates, and say “Hey, I REALLY love you” by giving something they’ll remember and use everyday for years to come: a Samsung Galaxy device. The products included in this campaign are Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Buds2, Galaxy S21 FE 5G, Galaxy Tab S7 FE, and Galaxy Book Pro 360.

Then, I also developed ideas and cute poems for Valentine’s Ecards that were to be given to those who bought Galaxy Valentine’s Day gifts:

I also wrote the copy for the Samsung Care webpage which announces how Best Buy Geek Squad agents are now certified Samsung Care technicians.

I concepted and wrote copy for three retail infographics/art cards in 2022. K.S. Choi, the president of Samsung North America, loved the three infographics so much, he wanted a total of eight infographics to be printed and placed in Samsung stores nationwide.

Award-Winning Galaxy Rovers

I wrote info-card copy for the award-winning Samsung experiential campaign, Galaxy Rovers, which delivered over 1,000 activations throughout Texas in 2021. Vans would drive around the country and unfold with awesome experiential content inside. Here are the info-cards for the Galaxy Watch4 and Samsung DeX:
