Social Media

Marinela USA, Gansito USA, and Pingüinos

I was one of the main creatives for the Facebook and Instagram pages of Marinela USA and Gansito Marinela USA. Besides the copy on the image, I also wrote and edited the post copy. The Marinela brand’s social media presence is extremely successful, with $0.45 cost per like. My work includes posts that have had +25 million reach and nearly 8% engagement rates. I was even featured in a post that had over 1 million views.

Barcel USA

I helped put the sell in Barcel USA by working on social media posts and commercials with Barcel Brands, including Ricolino Vero Candies, Coronado USA, and Artisan Style chips. In 2020, Coronado entered into the top ten of its category, and Vero candies introduced a partnership with famous Takis chips—the new Vero Takis Lollipop.

Video Scripts

Bimbo Bakeries USA

I’ve brainstormed, written, edited, and translated content for Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU), the U.S. branch of the world’s largest, multibillion-dollar bakery. One video I wrote and edited the script for, “Bimbo: Always Baked With Love,” has over 6 million impressions and 3 million video completions.

Marinela USA, Pingüinos, and Gansito USA

I helped with the conceptualization, writing, and editing of Marinela USA’s product-launch video featuring new Pingüinos cookies. It reached over 25 million people across all platforms. The goal was to let people know that theses are “Not just the best cookies Ever… they are the best cookies EVEREST. ” The overarching message of the campaign was “The Best is in You” followed by the hashtag phrase, “Dare2B#1”.

This following commercial I helped conceptualize, write copy, and script was a 2021 MUSE award Platinum Winner. The video is about a Hispanic young adult inspired by Marinela products to follow her dreams as opposed to settle for society’s norms. The video still earned this reward despite its release being postponed a year due to COVID-19.

Yes… I am in this next video. It received over 1.2 million views on Instagram. So I guess I’m kind of famous… but not really. Basically, I asked my mom to video me doing silly ways to exercise and multitask during the pandemic. My colleagues did the editing.

Barcel USA and Ricolino Vero USA

I co-wrote, co-directed, filmed, and acquired talent (i.e. my beautiful wife) for this Ricolino Vero commercial, which was shared across multiple social platforms.

I wrote product and banner copy for the Marinela USA website.

Ecommerce and SEO Copy

I wrote ecommerce texts for all of Marinela USA’s products. See below the sample for Prínicipe Cookies. SEO keywords include: “crispy,” “chocolate,” “sandwich cookies,” “tasty,” “dunk,” “treats,” “snacks,” “party,” and “indulgence”. In my romance copy, I played with the English translation of “Prínicipe”, which is “Prince”.

Also, I wrote a theme-song for Marinela USA and recorded it with Legion Advertising. It is in Spanish and English, and the lyrics express the struggles and joys of Hispanic Americans living within two cultures and languages.
